Where I Come From

I come from Somogy, and I have felt a deep connection with animals and the natural world since childhood.

I began taking photographs in 2017. Since then, capturing moments from the lives of wild animals and the natural world has become my passion — mostly in the same landscapes of Somogy where I grew up.

For me, photography is the search for quiet, honest moments that nature offers only once. It takes time: many days in the field, many empty mornings, and a presence quiet enough for the animal to remain undisturbed.

Philosophy

The Image Belongs to the Animal,
Not the Photographer

I work without disturbing wildlife. If making an image would mean getting too close, I let it go — there will always be another morning. This approach is slower, but it shows in the result.

Photography

In a still image, a single moment is everything: the expression, the movement, the direction of the light. That is what makes an early morning in the field worthwhile.

Film

In film, behaviour leads the story. Longer observation, fewer cuts, and only as much sound as belongs to the place itself.

Prints

I want to share these photographs as high-quality Giclée prints, with the most exceptional images released as limited, numbered editions.

Most of my photographs are made in the same parts of Somogy where I grew up.
Knowing these places is what tells me which clearing is worth waiting beside at dawn — and when it is better not to go out at all.
The camera is only a tool. Most of the work lies in knowing the terrain, reading the wind and waiting.
